What is the age suitability of Approach Plus 360?

Approach Plus 360 is suitable from birth to 19.5kg/40-105cm, which is approximately 4 years old. Thanks to Approach’s adjustable inserts, recline and headrest, the multi-stage car seat is designed to accommodate your child at easy stage of their growth.

How should I install Approach Plus 360 into my vehicle?

Approach Plus 360 can only be used with the Base Plus 360, which is our 360° rotating ISOFIX base. The base can be securely connected to the ISOFIX anchor points inside your vehicle, with an extendable support leg for extra stability. Once fitted, Approach Plus 360 can be securely locked into the base, and rotated 360° for easy on and off boarding.

Can I use Approach Plus 360 with a seatbelt?

No, Approach Plus 360 should only be used with the Silver Cross Base Plus 360, and cannot be installed using the adult seatbelt.

Can I attach Approach Plus 360 to my stroller?

No, Approach Plus 360 cannot be attached to your stroller, however, our lie-flat infant carrier Glide Plus 360 is compatible with Silver Cross strollers, and strollers from other brands too.

How should I adjust the inserts?

Glide Plus 360 & Approach Plus 360 features super soft inserts crafted from natural bamboo to cocoon your little one in safety and comfort on every journey. As your child grows, the inserts can be gradually removed to increase the space within the shell of the seat.

Does the Base Plus 360 rotate 360°?

Yes. The Base Plus 360 offers 360° spin with rear-facing, forward-facing and side-loading modes to make fastening your child into their car seat easier. With an AgeLock rotation switch, the base will ensure your child is travelling in the safest position according to their age.

How does the AgeLock rotation switch work?

The AgeLock rotation switch offers two settings for your child's safety. The ‘0-15 months’ setting keeps your child securely rear-facing in the Glide Plus 360 or Approach Plus 360 car seats. Once your child reaches 15 months, the ‘15 months-4 years’ setting allows them to transition to forward-facing in the Approach Plus 360. The switch within the base ensures that your child is always travelling in the correct position.

Which car seats is the Base Plus 360 compatible with?

The Base Plus 360 is compatible with our lie-flat Glide Plus 360 infant carrier, and multi-stage Approach Plus 360, offering families versatility and longevity over their child’s early years.

How should I install the Base Plus 360 into my vehicle?

Use the integrated connectors to attach the base to the ISOFIX points in your vehicle. Once fitted, extend the support leg to meet the base of your vehicle. Once installed correctly, the colour-coded guides will turn green to indicate the base is secure.
